Bruce Willis, one of the most memorable actors of the 1990s, announced his retirement from acting due to a rare disease. The artist’s daughter, Rumer, released the news on her Instagram account, where she explained that Willis was diagnosed with aphasia, a disease that causes cognitive problems.

As the post states: “For Bruce’s amazing fans, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and was recently diagnosed with aphasia, which is affecting his cognitive abilities. As a result of this and with much consideration, Bruce is walking away from the career that has meant so much to him.”

The text shared by the daughter of the protagonist of Hard to Kill It was signed by his sisters in addition to the couples that the actor has had, Demi Moore and Emma Heming.
