248 new cases of Covid-19 are registered, while the application of booster doses already reaches 181,979

The report of the Department of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) reveals that as of December 1, 477,990 confirmed accumulated cases of Covid-19 are registered in Panama, of which 248 are new. In the last 24 hours a death was reported and a previous date is updated for a cumulative 7,367 deaths and a fatality of 1.5%.

Those recovered amount to 468,000, of which 174 are new recovered. They were applied in the last 24 hours 7,716 tests for a positivity of 3.2%.

Active cases total 2,623, of which 2,506 are in home isolation and 117 hospitalized. Those who are in home isolation are divided into 2,425 at home and 81 in hotels. There are 94 hospitalized in wards and 23 in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

181,979 booster doses have been applied.

Operation PanavaC-19 continues with the application of doses of the Covid-18 vaccine throughout the national territory reached until this December 1 6,038,512, of doses applied, including the sum of 181,979 booster doses.

In Panama, the points of application of doses are in the vaccination center in the Irving Saladino Sports City, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. as well as at Plaza Villa Lucre, and Los Andes Mall at the same time, and at El Dorado and Soho Mall from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

In Las Margaritas de Chepo, at the headquarters of the CSS and the Unión Azuero School: in Tortí in the Minsa-Capsi and in the Hospital de Chepo.

In western Panama as of this December 2 There is vaccination in the following schools: Corozales Afuera, La Herradura, El Coco, Santa Rita, Zanguenga, Arosemena, Llano largo, Victoriano Chacón and the José María Barranco school.
