The National Police has arrested a 27-year-old man as the alleged perpetrator of a sexual assault on a minor with whom he lived in Palma.
As reported by the Superior Headquarters of the National Police in the Balearic Islands on Tuesday, the investigation began after a complaint from the parents. The man lived with his partner on the same floor as the family, sharing the house.
Supposedly the detainee entered the minor’s room at night, when the rest of the family was sleeping, and got into bed with the victim. He would have touched her, against the minor’s wishes, until he finally had sexual intercourse.
Once the Family and Women’s Care Unit (UFAM) of the National Police became aware of the complaint, an investigation was launched. As a result, last Saturday the man was arrested.
