Huobi Global, the Asian cryptocurrency exchange with a presence in Latin America, is about to celebrate its 8th birthday, and it brings a very “spatial” gift. All registered users and with approved identity verification, will be able to participate in a trip to space, together with an “independent space flight company”.
About who can participate, the contest will be open to all users who have passed the identity verification, that is, those who have registered their data through the certification of an identity document.
For new users, they will have until December 16, the date on which the contest ends, to check in and verify your identity, and thus be able to participate by space flight.
The winner will be chosen randomly from all participants and will be announced on the official Twitter account of Huobi Global December 30th. The company will bear all expenses including physical training, accommodation and visa.
Whoever is the winner must go through a training and physical conditioning program to withstand the onslaught of the trip. After all, visiting the universe is not something you do every day.
We are excited to launch this global campaign. Space exploration technology is growing by leaps and bounds, and we want to give one lucky person the opportunity of a lifetime. We believe that the concept of space is in line with our global vision of giving everyone the opportunity to access the impossible.

About which company will be in charge of taking the winner to the space, the press release does not make it clear. However, it details that the first prize is valued at approximately half a million dollars, a price that matches the cost per ticket announced by the Virgin Galactic company.
This taking into bill that companies like SpaceX, from Elon Musk, or Blue Origin, from the creator of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, tickets exceed 50 and 20 million dollars, respectively.
Space travel and bitcoin
A spatial society, According to the best science fiction novelists of the 90’s, like Isaac Asimov and Frank Hubert, it seems to be what humanity holds. Although for now it is only a prize related to the field of cryptocurrencies, space travel and bitcoin could have a very close relationship in the future.
Bitcoin was once among the plans of Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, a company that is currently developing a space tourist program. However, the relationship changed course, but it has not gone completely away, since Musk has declared that Tesla, another of his companies, could once again accept bitcoin as a form of payment, after vetoing it for the alleged contamination that cryptocurrency mining generates.
In relation to space travel, Bitcoin is already beginning to have its own satellites, in this case in the hands of the company Blockstreem, which will allow the power to send and receive BTC without, basically, having an internet connection. With being connected to the satellite it will be possible to make payments with the mother cryptocurrency.
