A group of veteran developers who worked at CD Projekt Red, on games like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Y cyberpunk 2077, they founded a new studio called Rebel Wolves, which is working on a fantasy title.
Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, director of the studio and who served as head of production and deputy director of Cyberpunk 2077told The Verge portal that the video game could be released in 2025, in addition to being released on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
According to the producer, the game will be similar in size to the expansion blood and wine from The Witcher 3although “it will be much more linear”.
Perhaps one of the most remarkable aspects about the formation of the Rebel Wolves studio is that, in addition to Tomaszkiewicz, it has the talent of Jakub Szamałek, who served as narrative director for The Witcher 3 Y Cyberpunk 2077. From the names involved in the project, it seems that the Rebel Wolves game will be The Witcher 3 which Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
In a statement, the study Rebel Wolves said that in the coming months it will begin to hire specialists for different production roles. The goal of this new project is to form a team with a maximum of 80 people.
The study also highlighted that it will have among its values a transparent development process, in which it will prioritize the recognition of the contributions of each of its collaborators.
