About 30 Chirican companies are preparing to export, taking advantage of the momentum of the economic recovery

Representatives of some 30 companies in the province of Chiriquí were updated on the functionalities of the platform of the Business Intelligence Office (Intelcom), among other necessary resources for the export sector, during a face-to-face training session.

In two days, the participants were able to learn in a practical way the benefits of Intelcom with the exhibition of Óscar García, consultant for the United Nations Development Program (Undp) and data on international trends in European markets with executives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Mici).

Likewise, they received information about how to set the export price to your products, with the presentation of Dora Espinoza, recognized Panamanian exporter; as well as international standards with Romano Feolli, official coach of Incoterms 2020, certified by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

The training was organized by the National Directorate for the Promotion of Exports of Mici and the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Agriculture and Tourism of Chiriquí (Camchi), to promote exports and provide support to exporters.

This event featured the participation of the president of Camchi, Felipe Rodríguez; and the Provincial Director of the MICI in Chiriquí, Esthefanie Santamaría.
