Action 2, the new DJI action camera | Digital Trends Spanish

The DJI company, known mainly for its drones, has presented a second version of its cameras of action, in the form of the new Action 2.

Several are the important details of this new camera. The first is that the Osmo name under which the previous cameras of the same type were launched is left aside. And the second thing is that it is a modular camera, which comes with a series of accessories that connect to it.

The camera itself has a 12-megapixel lens that allows 4K video to be recorded at 60 frames per second, with a 155-degree viewing range; in addition, there is a 1.76-inch OLED touch screen at 446 x 424 pixels, with a Gorilla Glass type protection glass. And it comes with 32GB internal storage, plus a microSD slot.

The Action 2 measures just 39 x 39 x 22 millimeters and its weight is 56 grams. Modular accessories include an extra 1300 mAh battery, a remote control or a second screen (which comes with three extra microphones), in addition to the traditional type selfie sticks, straps, water protection housings or the like.

All of these accessories are attached to the camera using a magnetic system, you should have no problem holding them even in busy conditions.

The DJI Action 2 will be sold precisely together with the mentioned modules and everything indicates that, at least at its launch, it will not be possible to buy only the main camera. The pack The camera plus the second screen module will be priced at $ 519 and will go on sale on November 2, while the version with the battery module will be priced at $ 399 and will be available from the middle of the same month.
