AFIP: now defines evasion from $ 1.5 million for criminal jurisdiction

The Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP), in charge of Mercedes Marcó del Pont, ordered the officials involved in the preparation of cases for evasion to begin to use the criteria that emerged from the 2017 Tax Reform. Specifically, the Taxpayers who were in the agency’s sights for amounts less than $ 1.5 million will no longer be. According to a general instruction signed yesterday by the General Director, Juan Pablo Fridemberg, the collecting body must adjust the principle of the “most benign law”, based on the changes in the tax reform, which established an increase in the amounts for qualify cases.
