Again, there are no deaths from Covid-19, while they announce the purchase of vaccines for children from 5 to 11 years old

In Panama, there were no deaths as a result of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to the report of the Department of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) of yesterday, Wednesday, October 27. On Sunday, October 24, there were no deaths either.

This year, on May 16 and 17 neither were deaths from Covid-19 reported.

The Minister of Health, Luis Francisco Sucre, announced that they will proceed with the acquisition of vaccines for the application of doses to minors between 5 and 11 years of age, so that they can also have their level of immunization against COIVID-19.

Sucre appealed to the population that despite the fact that the statistics are favorable, not to lower our guard and to comply with biosafety measures and regulations that have been issued to participate in activities related to national holidays.

Precisely for the national holidays, he announced that from November 2 to 7, Operation PanavaC-19 will pause the ordinary days in all the points authorized at the national level for the application of vaccines against Covid-19, because a decrease in demand is expected due to national celebrations.

Nevertheless, on November 8 the vaccination days will be resumed throughout the country, highlighted the health minister.

During these days, the swab points in Panama City will operate on a regular schedule. from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm in the usual places of the Rod Carew national stadium and in the Emilio Royo stadium, located behind the Roberto DurĂ¡n Arena. In addition, the health centers and polyclinics of the Social Security Fund will function as swab points.

Regulations for the exhibition of musical bands
