In June the people of Airbnb had informed about the limitation of parties in some of his rentals, but now he will radicalize his position even more, since he intends not to rent houses to people who want to hold one of those events that can burn down your backyard.
Airbnb announced in a blog post Tuesday night that they were rolling out a software update for the US and Canadian markets that they say will identify “potentially high-risk bookings,” meaning those trying to book an entire home rental near where they live. .
“For example, this system looks at factors like history of positive reviews (or lack of positive reviews), how long the guest has been on Airbnb, length of trip, distance to listing, weekend vs. of the week, among many others. The main objective is to try to reduce the ability of bad actors to organize unauthorized parties that negatively affect our hosts, neighbors and the communities we serve.
This technology is designed to prevent a reservation attempt from occurring. Guests who are unable to make full house reservations due to this system will still be able to book a private room (where the Host is more likely to be physically on-site) or a hotel room through Airbnb.
