Bad news reached the subscribers of the Prime service of the Amazon e-commerce platform: the prices of various Amazon Music plans experienced various increases.

The Single Device subscription grew the most: growth from $3.99 to $4.99 translates to a 25 percent increase.

Another of the plans that today is one of the most expensive for Prime holders is Amazon Music Unlimited. The package went from $7.99 to $8.99 dollars, that is, a more moderate increase of 12.5 percent.

The e-commerce giant kept the amount per Amazon Music Unlimited for those who do not have a membership. Likewise, the company kept the cost of the Family Plan at $14.99 for Prime members.

Despite the rise, Amazon Music Unlimited is still more convenient than competing services, such as Apple Music or Spotify, which go up to $9.99.
