An illegal party in Vejer de la Frontera (Cádiz) with more than 1,200 people evicted without anti-Covid measures

Agents of the Local Police and the Civil Guard have evicted an illegal party with more than 1,200 people that was held on the night from Saturday to Sunday in a plot of the Cadiz town of Vejer de la Frontera.

According to the Vejer City Council on its social networks, consulted by Europa Press, the agents received the notice of the celebration of an illegal party located in the Paternilla-San Ambrosio area and they went to the scene of the events together with municipal representatives.

The Vejer Local Police was in charge of carrying out the eviction, although it had to request reinforcements from the Civil Guard due to the agglomeration of people concentrated in the area.

The agents drew up the corresponding infraction record and opened administrative and judicial proceedings due to the lack of a license from the organization of the party, in which an illegal plot was also used and narcotic substances were seized.

The police intervention also credited the lack of preventive measures against Covid-19 and the breach of the rules established by the health authorities to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.
