Apex Legends launches short and introduces its new character | Digital Trends Spanish

Respawn Entertainment introduced a new character for Apex Legends. It’s called Seer and it premiered alongside a new video framed in what it calls Stories from the Outlands (Histories of the Far Lands, in Spanish), a series of shorts related to the universe of the game.

The video was created in a collaboration with Robert Valley, a Canadian artist and illustrator who has credits in Love, Death & Robots Y Tron: Uprising, among other works.

The clip quickly explains the origins of the character, something that may interest the most ardent fans of Apex legends and everything that has to do with its background.

In practice, Seer will be one more character in the cast of the game with abilities that are not very clear in the video. However, these may have something to do with highlighting points of interest on the map or identifying enemies in situations that other characters cannot.

The launch of Seer in Apex legends arrives alongside the premiere of a new season of the game called Emergence and that will begin on August 3 on all platforms where the title is available. Emergence It comes with several changes both in game modes and in the map on which it is played, but for now the study has not given more details, since these are reserved for the EA Play event on July 22.

This event will surely show some Seer gameplay, in addition to the minutiae of the new season. Apex legends it has managed to remain fairly popular in one genre – type games. battle royale– in which many companies have tried to enter, but few have been able to stand out, in part thanks to the fact that it is very difficult to compete with phenomena such as Fortnite or Call of Duty Warzone.
