Apple has announced a new online event for Monday, October 18 at 10 am PT (1 pm ET), which will be streamed through the company’s website.
The technology company is expected to announce its next generation of Mac computers, powered by Apple Silicon chips developed by the firm itself.
The M1X is one of the names that is being evaluated and that could refer to the graphical improvement from the M1 that has already given good results in the MacBook Air. . This chip could offer faster performance.

It should be recalled that previously, the company powered its computers with chips made by Intel, whose products were used in Apple laptops and desktops sold from 2006 onwards.
At this second fall event, Apple could launch a couple of new MacBooks, a redesigned high-end Mac Mini, and probably a couple of third-gen AirPods.
Monday’s presentation is also expected to announce the release date of its latest free software update for Mac computers, called MacOS Monterey.
This may be the last event to be held in its entirety virtually, since the massive application of coronavirus vaccines could allow the public to attend upcoming events.
