Apple has just released its latest movie shot with one of its devices. Is about The Comeback, a 23-minute film that the company screened to celebrate the arrival of the Chinese New Year.
The film is directed by director Zhang Meng and was filmed entirely with an iPhone 13 Pro, which is the latest smartphone released by the apple company. The tape is part of Apple’s Shot on iPhone collection.
In this case, both Meng and his director of photography Luo Dong have relied only on the cameras of the device to make the film and without resorting to any additional lens.
Although the tape is in Chinese, the company has incorporated English subtitles.
The story revolves around a young man who works as an action movie stuntman, but who dreams of directing his own film.
The protagonist returns to his town to celebrate the New Year with his family. In that place, his father and his neighbors receive him as if he were a renowned director.
They also convince him to make a movie about the town so that the place where they live can become famous on the internet and attract tourists.
Chinese New Year or Lunar New Year begins on Tuesday, February 1, and is an important holiday in China and other countries. This is the fifth time that the company has commemorated this date with a special campaign.
Previously, Apple shared on its China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau websites a gift guide for China featuring iPhone 13 models and AirPods, among other devices.
