Apple TV + announces that Invasion will have a second season | Digital Trends Spanish

Little by little, the Apple TV + catalog is growing thanks to the incorporation of new series and original films.

Now, Apple’s streaming platform has just confirmed that Invasion, one of its most successful series, will have a second season.

The announcement was made through the service’s account on Instagram. “The invasion continues,” says the publication confirming that production has been renewed for a second stage.

This news is revealed just before Apple TV + premieres the final episode of the first season, which should hit streaming this Friday, December 10.

As with most productions of the Apple service, Invasion it has ten chapters. It arrived on the platform in late October and has offered a different look at what an alien invasion could be.

The story revolves around characters from different continents and how they prepare to face this imminent threat.

Invasion is written by Emmy Simon Kinberg, who was the producer and screenwriter of the series X Men, Deadpool and The Martian, and David Weil (Hunters). In turn, they are both executive producers.

The interesting cast of this series is headed by Sam Neill, Shamier Anderson, Firas Nassar, Golshifteh Farahani and Shioli Kutsana.

Invasion is one of the most interesting bets of Apple TV + in the field of science fiction. It should be remembered that the company has also released Foundation based on the work of Isaac Asimov, who has failed to fully convince the followers of the writer.
