The controversial bishop of Orihuela-Alicante, José Ignacio Munilla, has returned to his old ways with a controversial tweet in which he recalls a “data for history”, in reference to the recent animal protection law approved by the Government. “Hitler promulgated a pioneering law against animal abuse on November 24, 1933, reads the message, which adds:” The paradox is that he applied as much energy in the protection of animals as in the annihilation of non-Aryan humanity “.
The tweet attaches a news headline claiming that the government’s recent law “grants more rights to animals than to unborn human beings.”
A fact for history: Hitler enacted on November 24, 1933 a pioneering law against animal abuse.
The irony is that he put as much energy into protecting animals as he did into annihilating non-Aryan humanity. pic.twitter.com/QLIzEeXHHo– Jose Ignacio Munilla (@ObispoMunilla) February 18, 2022
Bishop Munilla, recently landed in the diocese of Orihuela-Alicante, drags a string of controversial statements against abortion, gender equality or the LGTBI community.
