In ideological battles, the most regrettable thing is the murder of words. Words lose their meaning. And everyone does and undoes with the senses. In post-truth times, the truth does not matter. The important thing is the victory of our side. Unfortunately, everything becomes a semantic game. In the world of cryptocurrencies, for example, the word “risk” is constantly abused. What does the word “risk” mean? What is necessary to win the argument? What happened to the dictionaries?

“The dollar is worthless paper.” “He is a rock that we pull out of the ground.” “It’s not just a code.” Certain. But they are also abstractions. Obviously they are not just paper, rock and code. They are the representation of something else. They are the symbolic representation of a social pact. We have the sign and the meaning.

Let’s analyze this tweet: “Who said that accumulating Bitcoin is risky? The risk is to accumulate worthless papers. The biggest risk is not having.” Definitely a semantic nightmare.
