Bookker, the company already trusted by Telefónica, Danone and Bimbo, among others, offers solutions that are especially suitable for returning to the offices to guarantee people’s physical and mental well-being. Present in 15 countries, it has increased its team by 50% and its turnover has multiplied by six since January 2021
Bookker, who started his career before the pandemic, has experienced unquestionable success during it. In just two years, the Spanish startup has managed to make profits, multiplying its turnover by six in 2021 and increasing its team by 50%.
The management of spaces has become more necessary than ever: “companies are looking to us for a solution to improve their efficiency, increase their productivity and provide security for their employees,” says Miguel Ángel Orellana, CEO of Bookker.
For 2022 the figures could not be more promising, hoping to triple its turnover and double its team, in addition to consolidating its network of partners and international presence. Lines that have been defined in a retreat in the Piedra Monastery, where apart from enjoying the wonderful surroundings almost exclusively, they have exposed the current situation of the company and the next steps.
“We are very satisfied with the figures obtained. They are the fruits of work and start-up at full speed, to adapt our technology to the needs of the moment ”, explains Ricardo Ureta CTO of Bookker.
The company has achieved a presence in 15 countries, where it manages more than 200,000 jobs. Currently, he is in charge of managing the corporate spaces of Telefónica, Danone, Bimbo, MásMóvil, Banco Itau, OceanWinds, Laboratorios Ferrer, Toyota, Claro, CBRE, ISS Facility Management, etc. among other large companies.
For next year the project will continue to evolve: “we are working to offer a more complete experience to users, incorporating Artificial Intelligence, Gamification, API, etc. As well as more functionalities that still enrich this experience, taking advantage of the potential of Augmented Reality ”, explains Jesús Lobo, COO of Bookker.
Augmented reality, unlike other technologies, does not need any type of hardware or device. “There is no contact”, Orellana points out, “and, therefore, it does not require maintenance or complex installations, and it favors sustainability”. This is one of the differential aspects of Bookker, compared to other companies; added to the fact that its tool allows you to manage the entire space, not only workstations, but also parking spaces, meeting rooms, dining rooms, etc. “Everything that can be labeled, can be managed” and helps in the management of telework scenarios, being an essential ally for organizations in the design of the future of work, hybrid work, etc.
“Soon we will publish articles, papers, etc. together with leading entities in the world of the ‘future of work’ ”, announces José Luis Casal, CMO of the company, on the next steps proposed. “Actions focused on consolidating the network of international partners and providing them with all the necessary support and training will also be increased.”
The Bookker team emphasizes the approach to the client, ensuring that everything that has progressed so far has been thanks to the ‘feedback’ of the people who use the tool, allowing them to know what the concerns and priorities of each company are. “Technology must be at the service of people and for this we must be very vigilant,” explains Nora Wllington, Sales Solution Expert at Bookker. And you can see that it works: “there are several clients who have come to Bookker thanks to the recommendation of other clients. Some have also become partners, offering the solution to their customers. Mission accomplished ”, sentence José Luis Casal.
2022 promises to be a great new year for Bookker. “We hope to triple our size again, double the team and consolidate our preferred international markets. And, in addition, there will be more surprises ”, says Miguel Ángel Orella.
