CaixaBank Wealth reaches 16,870 million euros managed in independent advice

CaixaBank Wealth, launched more than three years ago, was the independent advisory service pioneer in Spanish banking. With the aim of maintaining a top quality service, it currently has a team of 80 managers and portfolios with a maximum of 35 clients per manager. In addition, the area is complemented by the services of more than 20 Wealth specialists dedicated exclusively to providing direct support to clients who require specific advice in certain areas, such as tax, alternative assets, personalized portfolio management, philanthropy, art or real estate issues, among others.

At the end of 2021, CaixaBank Wealth reached 2,000 clients with a signed independent advisory contract, growing by more than 600 family groups in the year.

Supported by the MIFID II regulation, this unit specialized in wealth management is made up of managers with extensive experience and knowledge of the market in all its areas. The wealth manager, together with the team of specialists from the different assets, is in charge of designing the investment strategy, maximizing efficiency, both from the point of view of the return-risk binomial, as well as that of the costs associated with portfolio management . And all this within the framework of an independent advisory contract, which guarantees the total alignment of interests with the client and the impossibility of charging incentives by the entity.

This model, which has the maximum transparency in costs through the explicit charge for the advisory service and processes that ensure the best alternatives on the market, makes the most extensive range of products and services available to the client, with access to management products passive, illiquid assets, classes without marketing commission in the different financial instruments and personalized discretionary portfolio management.
