New year, new Call of duty. Activision confirmed the existence of Call of Duty Vanguard, the new game in the franchise that was known a few days ago and that will return to the setting of World War II.
Vanguard is developed by Sledgehammer Games, a studio that in 2017 launched another Call of duty based on the Second War called WWII. But the 2021 version of that same conflict promises to be different and to show what happened in the war from the perspective of four soldiers from various countries, who are inspired by real soldiers.
The latter confirms that the new Call of duty it will have an individual campaign set in places like the Pacific, North Africa and Europe, and in which it will be played with the aforementioned soldiers.
But it is not a Call of duty if you don’t have multiplayer modes. For this version, the return of the more traditional competitive modes is confirmed, in addition to the zombies mode and the successful Warzone, the battle royale of the franchise.
A striking detail is that each of these modes will be developed and advised by various studies. While Sledgehammer is the main study, Warzone It will be the work of Raven Software, while the zombies mode will be in charge of Treyarch, who introduced this mode in the distant Call of Duty World at War 2008.
Call of Duty Vanguard It will go on sale next November 5 and will be available on practically all platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S and PC.Vanguard It will not arrive on Nintendo Switch, which at this point is no surprise to anyone.
