Canadian tourists will have a strong presence in Río Hato for Christmas parties

Starting in January, Canadian airlines Transat y Sunwing that operate in the Scarlett Martínez International Airport They plan to continue offering two weekly frequencies, with tourists from the markets of Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg y Toronto, among other cities.

Raffoul Arab, General Manager of the Tocumen International Airport, SA explained “that the operators of these airlines trust in the safety of our operations, which adds value to the offer of Río Hato as an ideal tourist destination to celebrate the December holidays, with the privileged climate of beaches of white sand and sun that the central region of Panama offers ”.

The Scarlett Martínez International Airport, received 149 Canadian tourists last Friday, December 17, after the restart of operations of the airline Sunwing Airlines; the arrival of this new flight joined the airline Air Transat which restarted operations on November 23 and that between the two airlines will carry out more than 10 charter flights to Hato River direct from Canada during this month.

The reactivation of these charter flights is the result of the tourist promotion carried out by the National Government through the Tourism Authority of Panama aimed at the recovery of the country’s economy.
