The organization of the Reggaeton Beach Festival has finally confirmed it: the event that took place this Saturday in Tenerife and that was going to bring together several of the most famous voices of the genre, such as Anuel AA, Tokischa, Ñengo Flow or Myke Towers, among others, is cancelled. others.
After last July 28 (48 hours before the event) the City Council of San Miguel de Abona, where the festival was to take place, announced on its social networks that it was canceled due to “not having authorization”, the organization of the Reggaeton Beach Festival denied the information from the Consistory itself and assured that it had not canceled. “Right now we are working together with the City Council of San Miguel de Abona to guarantee its success,” shared the organizers.
This Friday, just 24 hours after the festival, the venue where it was to be held was completely sealed. However, the organization communicated on its social networks that it had already submitted “all the technical documentation” and that it was in constant dialogue with the San Miguel de Abona City Council.
Almost at midnight on Friday and just a few hours after the celebration of this musical event, the organization announced in a statement that it finally did not obtain the permits and that, therefore, the Reggaeton Beach Festival 2022 in Tenerife was cancelled.
“In all the years of the RBF brand’s history, we have never come across an administration that has made it so clear with its actions in recent days that not only did they not want to hold the event, but that they have done enormous damage to our community and our brand”, reads the writing published on Instagram.
