Cargojet reports dividend

The Canadian cargo airline Cargojet Inc. (ISIN: CA14179V5036, TSE: CJT) will continue to distribute a quarterly dividend of 0.26 Canadian dollars (CAD). The next payment will be made on January 5, 2022 (Record day: December 20, 2021).

In total, the company pays out CAD 1.04 to its shareholders over the course of the year. At the current share price of CAD 182.42 (as of November 15, 2021), this corresponds to a current dividend yield of 0.57 percent. In March 2021, the dividend was increased by 11.1 percent to the current amount.

In the third quarter of the fiscal year 2021, the group generated sales of 189.5 million CAD (previous year: 162.3 million CAD), as reported on November 1. According to its own statements, Cargojet is Canada’s leading cargo airline for time-sensitive overnight transports. The group was founded in 2002 and is headquartered in Mississauga in the Canadian district of Ontario.

Since the beginning of 2021, the share on the stock exchange in Toronto has been 15.09 percent in the red on the current price basis. The current market capitalization is 3.22 billion CAD (as of November 15, 2021).
