Casio’s G-Shock releases version of NASA’s orange suit | Digital Trends Spanish

The iconic brand of Casio watchespresented its new limited edition model GWM5610NASA4 G SHOCK pays homage to the orange suits worn by the NASA astronauts.

According to the brand, “the color scheme uses the same orange as the “pumpkin suits” worn by astronauts in flight. The dark black face of the watch represents the black visor of the helmet and a thin blue line on the face mimics the often seen blue accents seen on these suits.”

The bands have special laser-printed logos: the NASA insignia on the bottom band, “National Aeronautics and Space Administration” on the top band, and the American flag on the band loop. In addition, there is a special engraving of the back of an astronaut.

Previous models DW5600NASA20 and DW5600NASA21 came equipped with standard G-SHOCK features. The GWM5610NASA4 features a module that has additional features such as radio controlled timekeeping (multi-band 6), rugged solar (powered by solar energy), world time, and 5 daily alarms.

This orange watch, however, is more expensive than its predecessors and will set buyers back $170. It is only available for a limited time and can be purchased at the casio website.
