Cat Phones announced the launch of Cat Q10, a rugged wearable device with 5G connection. According to the company, the device provides a reliable and fast internet connection for multiple devices, especially when outdoors.
Cat Q10 is also dust and water resistant, and is Mil-Spec 810H military certified, which means it’s designed to withstand the harshest conditions of cold and rain. In addition, it has been subjected to drop tests of up to 1.8 meters in height.
The Cat Q10 is portable and designed for use by businesses operating in demanding environments. It is also practical for people who are constantly on the move, especially in places where Wi-Fi networks are not always available.
The device is quick and easy to install and up to 32 devices can be safely connected to it at the same time. It also offers better security and privacy when compared to public Wi-Fi hotspots.
Thanks to its 5,300 mAh battery, the Cat Q10 can keep connected devices online for longer, with up to 10 hours of use. Users can also remove and swap the battery, increasing battery life.
“This is the perfect solution for those who want to harness the power of 5G when broadband is unavailable or unreliable,” said Pete Cunningham, Vice President of Bullitt Group.
“Cat Q10’s rugged features ensure it can work anywhere a connection is needed.”
The Cat Q10 was introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) currently taking place in Barcelona, Spain.
