Catalonia ends the ban on meetings of more than 10 people

The Generalitat has announced the end of the latest restrictions on COVID-19 that affected fundamental rights. The Government spokeswoman, Patrícia Plaja, has advanced the news in the press conference after the Executive Council while the Procicat, the organism that manages the pandemic, finalizes its details. “The restrictions on the right of assembly and the one that affected freedom of worship, by restricting the capacity in religious centers, are declining,” he explained.

Plaja has immediately encouraged the population to continue going to get vaccinated if they have not done so yet. “There are vaccines available to the entire population. Please, get vaccinated,” he insisted.
