Strange radio signal found in the center of the Milky Way | Digital Trends Spanish

An international team of researchers has detected a mysterious radio signal emitted from the center of the Milky Way. It is a signal transmitted with some regularity and so far it is unknown what type of space object could be causing it. The signal has been called ASKAP J173608.2-321635 and was detected several times between January and September last year. Then it disappeared for a while and came back at the beginning of this year. This finding will be published in The Astrophysical Journal, where a group of astronomers explains that it is "a highly polarized, highly variable and steep spectrum radio source."
