Google announced that it has incorporated into Maps a tool that will allow users who have shared photos, reviews or lists to be followed publicly.
The tool, which can be used worldwide, transforms Google Maps into the company's new social network.
In this option, the updated profiles are very similar to a Twitter or Facebook page, with a follow button and information about the number of followers the account has.
Once a user is followed, publications and recommendations will be received in the tab Updates, as explained in a publication in the official blog of Google.
