The Detective Pikachu movie won't be the only type production live action of Pokemon. According to a report from Variety, a series about the franchise is in its early stages of development by Netflix. For now there are no further details regarding the production, but it is mentioned that Joe Henderson will be one of the writers and producers of the series.
