Currently, CCOO, together with UGT and USO, have already called a strike in Murcia between December 23 and January 2 due to the lack of agreement in the negotiations of the new collective agreement. Now, the union believes that this conflict “will spread if the anarchy of the sector is not addressed seriously and decisively by everyone.”

Last week, the Ministry, according to the document to which Europa Press has had access, proposed to the employers a series of measures to avoid the closure that they called between December 20 and 22, among which the limitation was proposed so that the Loading and unloading is not carried out by truckers, but without actually prohibiting it, something that companies have already rejected, they ask for its prohibition.

Workers’ Commissions has transferred in a statement that they did not expect the Ministry to sit down alone with the business side to talk about this type of issue without the representation of the workers. In fact, he sent a request to both parties for the dialogue table to be tripartite, but, according to the union, neither of them responded.

Added to all this is that CCOO does not believe that the problems raised by the employers are the main ones in the sector, but rather the “unfair competition carried out between the companies themselves and the inability of the different Administrations to put a stop to the variety of fraudulent formulas to lower salary costs “.
