CASIO Present for Latin America this March the DW5600SMB-4 model with a design based on the popular Nintendo video game, Super Mario Bros. This limited edition watch represents the classic game from the 1980s through its nostalgic design and theme.

Both G-SHOCK and Super Mario are cultural icons of Japan who have amassed fans around the world. With this in mind, G-SHOCK brings the world of Super Mario Bros. to life, through a carefully selected design and fun details that will appeal to all generations of Super Mario lovers. The red color of Mario’s outfit used on the bezel and dial, the background blue of the game world settings, and the golden details reminiscent of Mario’s precious coins, will captivate fans.

The base model adopts the boxy design of the DW-5600 that represents the iconic G-SHOCK silhouette. Turning on the backlight brings out classic Mario, and pairing it with the glass-printed Koopa Troopa shell at the bottom of the dial replicates the game’s iconic movement. 8-bit Mario is printed on the strap as a camouflage, and all fonts on the dial are 8-bit to create the 1985 atmosphere. To commemorate the collaboration, the watch comes in special packaging with a illustration of the home screen of the video game and Mario’s characteristic phrase, “Here we go!” (“Here we go!”, in Spanish).
