Christopher Lloyd surprises in an advertisement for Rick and Morty | Digital Trends Spanish

Rick and morty is one of the most popular animated series of the moment. For this reason, there is a lot of expectation on the part of the fans to know how the fifth season ends in its final two episodes.

To calm this anxiety (or perhaps increase it), the Adult Swim channel launched a short and strange commercial with the most important characters in fiction: Rick and Morty.

What is striking about this is that it is a real version, not animated, where we can see Christopher Lloyd playing Rick Sánchez and Jaeden Martell doing the same with Morty Smith.

It is a short video of just 14 seconds in length, where the only thing that can be seen is both characters going through a sort of portal to appear in the garage of the family’s house.

The funniest thing about all this is that Rick and morty was born as a kind of parody of the science fiction films of the eighties, in particular to Back to the Future, where Lloyd is one of the protagonists with Michael J. Fox.

For now, it is also not known if the video is a kind of preview of what can be seen in the final episodes of the season or if it is a simple promotion.

The truth is that the record has triggered the craziest theories on the part of fans; in fact, many are excited about a version live-action of the series, of course with Christopher Lloyd in the role of Rick and Jaeden Martell, whom we met in Item, playing Morty.
