Clementoni celebrates its 25th anniversary with a € 6,000 donation for children with cancer

Clementoni, a leading brand in educational toys, today presented a check for € 6,000 to the Aladina Foundation, to support them in the development of their comprehensive program for children and adolescents suffering from cancer. This solidarity action has been carried out in collaboration with El Corte Inglés, Toy Planet and Toys “R” Us, at the initiative of the Italian company. For the company, as its founder Mario Clementoni said, “playing is a serious thing”, and from there this idea was born to celebrate its 25th anniversary: ​​“We think of all children who in their day to day, for one reason or another, they cannot play ”; adds Marco Sebastiani, Country Manager of Clementoni Spain.

The award ceremony took place today at the Clementoni headquarters in Madrid together with representatives of the Aladina Foundation. The Italian company, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, has wanted to celebrate this special year with this solidarity action: “there is nothing better than celebrating by sharing”, explains Sebastiani.

With this action, a percentage of the sales of puzzles of the Clementoni brand has been donated in all the El Corte Inglés stores; and in all its categories, except puzzles, in Toys R Us and in Toy Planet; at different times this past fall. “This would not have been possible without our clients, faithful to our games and our philosophy. Obviously, not without our partners, who from here we want to thank for their support and contribution ”, added Sebastiani.

This solidarity initiative, carried out to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Italian brand, was born from Clementoni’s commitment to establish play as a social value, and to seek to contribute to the education and growth of all children; especially those facing difficulties. Clementoni has been accompanying the new generations in each stage of growth since 1963, through educational games, with a slogan that still accompanies them today: “growing up is a beautiful game”.

Clementoni has games for children of all ages; from 0 to 12 years old. Starting with the little ones, with the Baby Clementoni, Disney Baby and Clemmy lines; followed by toys for preschool and school age, and scientists from the Science and Game line. In addition, they accompany children with the creative games of Art Attack and Crazy Chic, and the whole family with their board games and their great classics: puzzles.

At the event, Sebastiani presented the check, recalling that “from Clementoni we hope to continue collaborating with the Foundation in the coming years. Although I hope we can dream of a day when Aladina can carry out other tasks, because there are no longer children with cancer. In short, thank you all for making play a serious thing and for making the lives of these children easier together ”, adds Marco.
