Consumer confidence fell almost 5% monthly in December


All the sub-indices of the ICC showed monthly decreases: Personal Situation fell 2.3%, Durable Goods and Real Estate 5.7% and Macroeconomic Situation 6.8%, always compared to last month.

In regional terms, the CCI fell in all regions, the fall being more marked in GBA (5.6%) -CABA fell 3.2% and the Interior 4.4%.

Confidence fell the most between high-income consumers (6.7% drop compared to a 3.6% drop for low-income consumers).

By last, Present Conditions fell 4.2% but Future Expectations fell 5.3%, compared to November, which shows a lack of optimism in the medium term.
