Cowboy Bebop, the live action adaptation of the popular anime, is set to become one of Netflix’s great premieres for the last months of the year.
The series will hit streaming on November 19. So far, the company had shown only petty advances in the story, but this time it has decided to fully reveal its official trailer.
In the video we can see its protagonists in action as well as knowing part of the plot that the series will develop. The record also allows one to appreciate Netflix’s concern for aesthetics as a way of replicating the atmosphere that characterized the original anime.
A few weeks ago, the company had already shared the official synopsis of the production:
“Based on the worldwide phenomenon of Sunrise Inc., Cowboy Bebop is a series that mixes various genres in the manner of jazz music. It tells the story of Spike Spiegel, Jet Black, Faye Valentine and Radical Ed, an anarchic group of bounty hunters fleeing their past as they hunt down the most dangerous criminals throughout the solar system. They could even save the world… at a good price ”.
The adaptation has 10 chapters and was written and produced by Christopher Yost (Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok). Meanwhile, the fiction is starring John Cho, Mustafa Shakir, Daniella Pineda, Alex Hassell and Elena Satine.
This project will also feature the participation of Shinichiro Watanabe, director of the original anime, who was hired as a consultant. Meanwhile, the Japanese composer Yoko Kanno will be in charge of the music for this adaptation.
Along with the trailer, the series has also released a poster featuring its three protagonists.
