Details of the new iPhone SE that Apple would present | Digital Trends Spanish


At its event on March 8, Apple should present a new third-generation iPhone SE along with other devices. But as the day arrives, we were able to learn more about this phone thanks to a publication by Ming-Chi Kuo, the renowned Apple analyst.

According to a prediction made by the expert, the iPhone SE 3 would have the same design as the current model, the A15 Bionic chip and 5G connectivity, in addition to other new details.

Kuo thinks the iPhone SE 3 could feature a new 256GB storage option, as well as the traditional 64GB and 128GB alternatives. For its part, the 5G capabilities of the smartphone could include mmWave and 5G Sub-6GHz connectivity, something that had not been mentioned before.

Through a post on Twitter, Ming-Chi Quo points out that the iPhone SE could feature the same white, black, and red colors as the current version. In the same tweet, the analyst rules out that this phone incorporates any update in its camera, which could be a great disappointment for Apple customers, according to the expert.

Some predictions for the coming new iPhone SE:
1. Mass production in Mar'22.
2. Estimated shipments of 25-30 million units in 2022.
3. Storage: 64/128/256GB.
4. A15 & 5G support (mmW & Sub-6GHz).
5. Casing: white, black, and red.
6. Similar form factor design to current SE.

Regarding the availability of the phone, Kuo believes that the mass production of the iPhone SE should start this month and that Apple aims to manufacture between 25 and 30 million units this year.

The company is expected to reveal more details of this phone at the Peek Performance event on March 8. A few months ago, Apple presented the new models of the iPhone SE in the regulatory databases, which could indicate that the launch of this smartphone is imminent.
