The general secretary of the board of directors of Iberdrola Renovables, Javier García de Fuentes, declared in the National Court that the electricity company paid several companies related by former commissioner José Villarejo expenses for an offer of services that was not accepted.
This follows from the statement by García de Fuentes collected by Efe. The secretary pointed out that he would refer exclusively to an invoice from 2012, the only one that appears in the indictment, according to legal sources they have indicated to the information agency.
It is an invoice for an amount of 29,500 euros issued by Cenyt, an espionage company whose property is attributed to Villarejo, for the commission of the Wind project, for support services and security logistics for Romanian personnel, as well as their payment , something that the Iberdrola subsidiary has recognized.
