DJI presents the Mavic 3, its most powerful and autonomous drone | Digital Trends Spanish

DJI has announced the launch of the DJI Mavic 3, an entirely redesigned and improved version of one of its drones.

According to the company, it is the best consumer drone they have released to date.

At the very least, it presents important new features compared to the previous model. One of the most outstanding is that the DJI Mavic 3 has a dual camera composed of a 4/3 CMOS sensor developed in collaboration with Hasselblad.

The company has also incorporated a second camera with a focal length of 162mm that allows hybrid zooming of up to 28x.

In this way, the drone can record images of up to 20 megapixels in 12-bit RAW format, in addition to recording videos in 5.1 K at 50 FPS or in 4K at 120 FPS. It is also capable of recording slow motion video at a maximum of 120 FPS or in ProRes 422.

In terms of transmission, the Mavic 3 can transmit 1080p at 60 FPS at a maximum of 15 kilometers, which is a significant improvement in frames.

Regarding the flight capacity of this device, the DJI Mavic 3 has the APAS 5.0 system that combines six individual sensors and two wide-angle sensors to detect any type of obstacle on the road.

The company assures that now it will be a much safer flight since the system perceives objects at a greater distance than before.

The autonomy of the drone reaches 46 minutes in optimal conditions, which is also an improvement compared to the other models that could operate between 20 and 30 minutes autonomously.

The device has also been made more efficient as it can determine the shortest and most energy efficient route.

The standard version of this drone will have a value that starts at $ 2,400.
