Donovan Carrillo and Sarah Schleper will be the flag bearers of Mexico in Beijing 2022

We already have the names of the flag bearers who will carry the Mexican flag at the inauguration of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. It’s about the figure skater Donovan Carrillo and the Alpine ski athlete Sarah Scheleper.

Both representatives were appointed by the Mexican Olympic Committee, chaired by José María Alcalá. The flag ceremony will take place on January 25 on the esplanade of the Mexican Olympic Sports Center (COM).

Regarding his appointment, the skater from Guadalajara commented that he feels very grateful to the Committee for the confirmation of the flag and highlighted the honor and privilege that this event represents for him, since it gives him the opportunity to extol the name of Mexico both in the ceremony as in competitions.


Donovan and Sarah will carry the Mexican flag at the opening of the Winter Olympics, whose games will include the February 4 to 20 this year.

Mexico in Beijing 2022
