Elon Musk left the future of 10% of his shares in Tesla in the hands of his followers on Twitter

So far, 55.7% of his followers have favored the yes and 44.3% for the no. Musk also tweeted that he will comply with the survey results.

The businessman’s comments come after the US president, Joe Biden, will send Congress a proposal to tax the assets of billionaires to help pay for the social and climate change agenda.

Musk is one of the richest people in the world and the owner of several futuristic companies, including SpaceX and Neuralink. He had previously criticized the billionaire tax on Twitter.

“Please note that I do not receive a cash salary or a bonus from anywhere. I only have shares, so the only way to pay taxes personally is to sell shares.” Elon Musk added in his post.
