Elon Musk makes it clear why he prefers Dogecoin to Shiba Inu

The comparison of Dogecoin with Shiba Inu is still being made in the market, but Elon Musk believes that DOGE is still better.

Elon Musk is a fan of Dogecoin and has even bought a Shiba Inu dog named Floki to symbolize his passion for the meme coin. However, this love has already sparked the creation of several coins on the market since the billionaire confessed to having this admiration.

One of them is Shiba Inu (SHIB), who introduces herself as the replacement for Dogecoin, running as a token on the Ethereum network. Even with the dispute between these currencies on several fronts, one that DOGE continues to struggle to improve is in relation to the means of payment.

Dogecoin’s creator highlights the currency’s strength and Elon Musk agrees with statement

Dogecoin creator Billy Markus stated on his Twitter that Dogecoin is the best currency to transact due to its low fees charged by the network. In a comparison image, he said that while a DOGE shipment costs next to nothing, Bitcoin costs $3.50 on average and $54.00 in SHIB.

“Dogecoin’s low fees make it ideal for all types of transactions.”

The high cost of sending Shiba Inu is due to the fact that this token is on the Ethereum network, one of the worst on the market today for sending values. Paying US$54 for a transaction would be to spend around R$300.00 to send money over the internet, which makes it impossible to use this network in many cases, especially if it is for small amounts.

After the publication of the co-founder of Dogecoin, Elon Musk curtiu this message on Twitter, demonstrating support for the thought of using DOGE as a means of payments.

In the last few days, Dogecoin released a new update, which made sending values over the network even cheaper. This action ended up creating a big problem at Binance, but for network users, in general, it was very positive.

It is worth remembering that Elon Musk may be about to implement the purchase of Tesla vehicles with Dogecoin, which could make this currency an official means of payment for his company, which would be the second listed on the stock exchange and which sells used Teslas to make the move, as BTZI has been accepting payments in this currency for a few months.

For the Shiba Inu community, this is another reminder of the importance of having a use case, which in the case of this coin is far from being a means of payment.
