Esther López will be buried this Wednesday in her hometown

The mortal remains of Esther López de la Rosa, the 35-year-old resident of Traspinedo (Valladolid) whose death is under investigation, will be buried this Wednesday in her hometown.

When all the hypotheses regarding the causes of the victim’s death are still open, after a preliminary autopsy report did not rule out any of the three possibilities considered, from a beating or an accidental fall to a run over, the town of Traspinedo will say his last goodbye to Esther López this Wednesday.

The day will begin at 12:30 p.m. with a funeral mass, unburied body, in the Parish Church of San Martín de Tours to, immediately afterwards, proceed to transfer the coffin to the local cemetery, where the mortal remains of Esther will receive Christian grave.

The mayor of the town, Javier Fernández, has made an appeal through the media to ask the City Council for “maximum respect for the family and the people in these moments of pain and mourning.”

In said message, the councilor is convinced of this and warns that during this Tuesday and Wednesday no type of statement will be made again because, as he points out, it is time to be with the family.

“I apologize and once these days have passed we will be available again and at your disposal as it has been during these weeks,” Fernández concludes.
