Exports in November reached their highest level since 2012

Brazil was the largest destination for Argentine exports and represented 19.6% of the total.

Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero pointed out that “the outstanding growth of exports is a clear and concrete example of the economic recovery in the different activities that Argentina is experiencing. According to the report from the Palacio San Martín, in November, imports totaled US $ 5.767 billion and the trade surplus reached US $ 397 million in the month and US $ 14.3 billion in 2021.

In 11 months of 2021, exports totaled US $ 71.3 billion, with a growth of 38.9% compared to the same period in 2020 and 19.4% compared to 2019.

Exports of manufactures of agricultural origin reached US $ 2,458 million in November, while Primary Products showed sales of US $ 1,323 million, the second highest historical record, after November 2019.

Exports of automobiles and light commercial vehicles reached 32,513 units sold, the highest level since November 2014, thus showing a sustained recovery path.

Brazil, Chile, India, the United States and China were the main destinationss of foreign trade, accumulating 45% of the total.

The highest interannual percentage growth within Knowledge-Based Services was presented by personal, cultural and recreational services, with exports of US $ 105 million and a growth of 60%.
