Fender just introduced the Fender Lexus LC Stratocaster, an electric guitar that was made in collaboration with Lexus.
According to a Fender statement, concepts such as daring, technology and Takumi craftsmanship, characteristic of the Japanese firm, have been applied in this piece.
It is a design and exclusive since only 100 units will be launched.
“Collaborating with Lexus to conceptualize, design and manufacture this electric guitar has been an incredible adventure,” said Mike Lewis, vice president of product development for Fender.
“Our team is constantly creating innovative products and this release is another great representation of craftsmanship and creativity at Fender,” he added.
Another of the peculiarities of this instrument is that it projects the same blue that was used in the Lexus LC 500 Coupé and the Inspiration Series convertible.
It is such a particular color that it is not really blue, that is, it does not contain any matter of that color, it only looks like this due to light interference.
“As a deep car enthusiast, this project was fun to carry out. We were bold with the technical specifications to make this model a living Lexus guitar. I can’t wait to see the whole world rock out to it, “added lead master builder Ron Thorn.
The Fender Lexus LC Stratocaster will retail for $ 6,000.
