Former White House adviser Kellyanne Conway tested positive for the coronavirus, she confirmed in a tweet Friday.

Conway described her symptoms as “mild,” including a “light cough,” and wrote she is feeling fine.

“I have begun a quarantine process in consultation with physicians,” Conway wrote in the tweet. “As always, my heart is with everyone affected by this global pandemic.”

Conway’s daughter, Claudia Conway, broke the news that her mother tested positive on her TikTok account.

According to a follow-up video, Claudia suggested that her mother may have been exposed to the virus during the White House event for Trump’s Supreme Court nomination of Amy Coney Barrett last Saturday. Conway herself has not confirmed where she was exposed.

Representatives from the White House and the Trump campaign did not immediately return Business Insider’s request for comment.
