The following set of challenges of Fortnite it’s ready now, this time for season 7, week 11. These objectives take you all over the place and focus on aliens, alien artifacts, and flying saucers; this is the highlight of season 7. One of the most recent challenges for the week is tagging an alien parasite, which may or may not cause some difficulties depending on how familiar you are with the season.

Alien artifacts are creatures that are scattered across the map in specific locations, so if you’re not looking for them specifically, you could easily miss them. However, once you know what they look like, you can easily see (or hear) them while you play. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find them, what they look like, and everything you need to know to complete the challenge.

Where to find alien parasites

Alien parasites are creatures that are scattered around the world in Fortnite. Use the map above (thanks, to see all their locations. For the purposes of this challenge, all you have to do is find and mark each one. The weird thing about this challenge is that you can’t just walk up to an alien parasite and tag it; you must attack it first. That’s because all creatures start out as green eggs, which only hatch when attacked.

The problem is, if you get close and attack them with your pickaxe, they will probably grab onto your head, draining your health, but giving your speed a boost. For that reason, we advise you to carry a weapon that allows you to shoot the eggs to make them open. Afterwards, you can easily mark them. Just make sure you don’t leave an egg whole as it won’t count towards the challenge. Only pink creatures with big eyes count, so take that into account. If the creature grabs onto your head, it’s not the end of the world, but it can be a hassle if you’re looking to win the game.

How to mark an alien parasite

After the eggs hatch, use the left button on the D-pad to mark the alien parasite. One thing to note is that they tend to jump all over the place, so marking them can be tricky. Just keep pressing the left D-pad button while pointing in their direction to make sure you actually marked them. Once you do, you will complete the challenge and earn 30,000 XP coins for doing it.
