In just over two weeks, Elon Musk opens Tesla’s second new electric vehicle assembly plant in the United States. After cutting the ribbon in Berlin (Germany), the manufacturer’s CEO prepares a party for his Gigatexas, located southeast of Austin.

Also known as Gigafactory Texas or Gigafactory 5, it will be the company’s fourth plant in the United States. When operating at full capacity, the facility could eventually house some 10,000 workers. There, the Model 3 sedan, Model Y midsize SUV, Cybertruck pickup and Semi truck will be produced.
