In addition to Clark and Becker, the cast includes Danny Trejo (Machete, From Dusk Till Dawn, Heat) and Mexican Elpidia Carrillo (Predator, Salvador). Rounding out the cast are Sofía Pernas (NCIS, Operation Rogue, Age of the Dragons) and Dale Dye (Mission: Impossible, Platoon).

Green Ghost & the Masters of the Stone also includes Renée Víctor (Coco, Weeds), Pepe Serna (Scarface), and Marko Zaror (Machete Kills).

The feature film is set in a Texas frontier town, where aggressive strangers arrive looking for an emerald from another world. At that moment, the superhero Charlie finds out that he has superpowers.

“While learning to fight alongside the unconventional Master Gin (Trejo), Charlie discovers that he is part of a secret organization of warriors, “the triad of light” that he joins with his childhood friend Marco (Becker) and his sister Karina. (Pernas), all led by La Nana (Víctor). Together, they have been chosen to protect humanity from Drake (Zaror), the personification of the Mayan apocalypse.

Gravitas Ventures added that “when an interstellar gate opens in a Mexican pyramid, Drake seeks the power to destroy humanity, and Charlie, connected by the power of the emerald, is the only one who can stop him.”

The film, the producer added, has “the style of the horror and martial arts comedies of the 70s and 80s,” and offers “adventures for the whole family.”

The premiere of Green Ghost & the Masters of the Stone will be exclusively in theaters on April 29, 2022.
