“We are aware that some of you have Problems accessing your Instagram account. We are investigating it and apologize for the inconvenience, “they have indicated in the message.
Nearly 7,000 Instagram users were affected, according to outage tracking website Downdetector, which collects status reports from various sources, including user-submitted bugs on its platform. The outage may be affecting a much larger number of users.
At the moment the reasons for the failure of the social network are unknown, but it coincides with the deployment of a renewed web interface for the application.
It is a renewed web interface that places the menu with access to Start, Search, Explore, Messages, Notifications, Create and Profile on the left side of the screen.
